For lighter tones, you’ll need to opt for the classic shampoo-in color, which works just as well, but doesn’t have the easy-to-use comb which makes this version simpler to use (and easier to spot treat). BEFORE USING THIS PRODUCT, YOU MUST PERFORM A PRELIMINARY 48-HOUR SKIN ALLERGY TEST ACCORDING TO THE ENCLOSED LEAFLET. I have bought 7 of these previously over the last couple of years and they took my hair from white/grey after a few days of use to very dark brown almost black looking. If you have short hair, be ready to do that all again in about four weeks and to keep your color looking as fresh as possible, reduce the amount you shampoo and use that color-safe shampoo when you do. Interestingly, I noticed an immediate change in the product - it's no longer dark grey but cream-colored.

Then the semi permanents have a weird “brown” side effect on my hair: wash after wash the dye became a lighter brown and after a short while it doesn’t look so great. Just something that might gradually build up a realistic bit of colour so that I don't look like I've just been assaulted by a bag of flour.
