About this deal

I had a hard time reading about it before but, now that I have finished this book, I seem to fully understand its make-believe science. Last but not least, i finished only yesterday but i resume to reading it again to find all points for fanfiction ect because theres so much. Written in Miss Peregrine's inimitable style, it's also a dramatic expansion of the universe fans have already come to love, introducing countless new peculiars, enemies, time loops, stories, and secrets, in addition to hundreds of never-before-seen vintage found photographs and select illustrations. Covering everything from how to blend in with suspicious normals to the most popular time loops to visit as a temporal tourist, this essential compilation is ideal for anyone curious about the world of Miss Peregrine: its strange history, curious practices, fascinating places, most famous (and infamous) names, and much more. There is a lot of lore found such as the type of peculiars we’ve seen in the series, how they lived and there are even some personal stories and interesting facts.

Thank you so much Goodreads and Ransom Riggs for the hardcover copy of Miss Peregrine's Museum of Wonders! Written in Miss Peregrine’s inimitable style, it’s also a dramatic expansion of the universe fans have already come to love. I read the first three books in Miss Peregrine's a long time ago and was absolutely in love with them, but the second trilogy didn't feel the same for me. Some of they entertaining others really just fleshing out aspects hinted at in the books (and film) but all if interest and creatively presented. As such it does not read linearly but rather as a series of articles covering a wide range of topics.

This was not made like other book guides, its written out of miss p's point if view and for godsaken fucks there was so much not mentioned in the books and even more left to imagination. This book is for the true fan - as the title suggests this is a hand book to the Peculiar world and as such is a collection of articles and guides written to help guide the newly found Peculiar in to that world. As other people have pointed out in their reviews, you shouldn’t read this book until after you’ve finished reading the main six books in the Miss Peregrine’s series as this one contains some spoilers for the main series. it doesn't have a plot or story, but rather explains everything that has to do with the peculiar universe. But like any guidebook this is a book you can come back to time and time again and still find something new.

If you have already read the series and want a fun fast read to just dip a toe back in this world and get some more fun old timey photos in the process, this is FOR YOU. ovom "vodiču" prethodi šest knjiga iz serijala o gđici peregrini (ja sam tamo davno neke pročitala samo prvu), a i ne trebaš biti poznavatelj priče da bi pustio maštu na pašu i guštao u izvrsnim, bizarnim i začudnim fotografijama, pitao se tko su oni, uistinu, bili, kakvim su životima živjeli i kojim su povodima nastale fotografije. It was very informative and the "handwritten" notes from Miss Peregrine made it feel like I was reading Jacob's personal copy!Normals fear what they do not understand, and fear is a cancer that can quickly metastasize into hatred and violence (page 110). I have loved writing stories and taking photographs and making movies ever since, and have endeavored to do all three. This book was hard to rate/review because it is not a story, but more an encyclopedia of the characters and peculiars from Miss Peregrine’s Peculiar Children series. Covering history, practices, memorable characters and much more, this immersive companion to Ransom Riggs' bestselling Miss Peregrine's Peculiar Children series is an absolute must-have for passionate fans.

I grew up on a farm on the Eastern shore of Maryland and also in a little house by the beach in Englewood, Florida where I got very tan and swam every day until I became half fish. P herself ( a favorite character of mine of any story )This book is more a collectors item to the series, a textbook (quite literally) of the functions of the peculiardom so it's a little hard to rate; I will say it was a joyful and lighthearted read, though it lacked any real story and organization. Miss Peregrine’s Museum of Wonders can easily be read as a standalone or an introduction to the peculiar world ….This book is about the history of Peculiardom that gives emphasis to its secrets and lifestyle, as authored by Miss Alma Peregrine herself. Miss Peregrine's Museum of Wonders can easily be read as a standalone or an introduction to the peculiar world . It somewhat feels like this book was written as a way for Ransom Riggs to have people see more of his antique photographs that he’s collected, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing since I know a lot of people fell in love with the Miss Peregrine’s series because of the antique photos. I’d only recommend for diehard fans of the Peculiar Children series, and probably wouldn’t have gone out of my way to read it myself if I hadn’t happened upon it at the library while grabbing the other books. Some of my other favorite parts (though they were brief) were the pages mentioning famous peculiars that include some famous people from the real world, as well as the section that describes why photographs are so important to peculiars.
