About this deal

There are 2 cleaning modes on the 2500. Daily clean and sensitive. The Sensitive mode might be slightly better to start with. Once used to the brush they can use the more powerful daily clean mode if they like. These ‘Tuft-in-Tuft’ structures are found on the outer edge of the brush head, there are 6 in total. The colour of the bristles start off fuller and darker, but as time passes they become lighter and appear more worn. Hi Barney. The brush heads from Oral-B come in only one size. They tend to be the smaller/smallest options from all the brands that still deliver good cleaning performance. Sadly I have no other suggestions as there are no alternatives that are smaller that I am aware of. Reply

Therefore it is always important to monitor your brush head and consider whether it is necessary to change your brush head sooner rather than later. With all the fake heads in circulation nowadays, changing the colour of the genuine heads has confused me, at least this article here has explained this, thanks for that, however, Braun should have done this via TV adverts. Reply Therefore, if you have an iO Series 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 or 10 electric toothbrush then you will need to ensure the heads you buy are compatible. Oral-B make many claims about the efficiency of plaque removal and how well each head cleans in combination with their brush handles. I am not here to judge or make comment specifically on how well they remove plaque, this is not a scientific test. Sensitive Clean is the new and improved brush head that is designed to replace the Sensitive brush head that has been available for many years.

Thanks Wendy. Perhaps to Oral-B themselves, these might mean something, but unfortunately to me they are not recognisable. Professional Care is a name applied to many of Oral-B toothbrushes. This is essentially what ‘Pro’ is now short for in many product names. The data analysing these different brush heads does not really exist to really understand the true differences. Some of this is based on my personal experience and understanding. The complex design of braces and the small food particles that can get caught on the teeth and gums and around the dental work may make brushing your teeth and leaving them fresh and clean more difficult.

I’ve just found in my cupboard a single long, thin, bristle brush attachment for your electric toothbrushes. It’s really good as it gets right between the teeth. Do you still manufacture these please or know where I could buy another one? Thanks Reply There are a select number of brush heads, notable CrossAction and FlossAction that have ‘Bacteria Guard Bristles’.
